Join pottery artist Kevin Martin in this 4 week course learning handbuilding and glazing techniques while creating your own "camp" lamp! Week 1: Building the Base Creating the main structure of your lamp using slab and mould techniques Week 2: Add Personality and Function Create space for the light fitting and start adding unique details to make your lamp truly your own Week 3: Shape, Smooth, Refine Continue building, refine the form and surface texture Week 4: Bring on the Colour Use underglazes to add colour, depth, and character to your piece From complete beginner to intermediate level, ages 14 and over. 4 classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:30pm, July 16th to August 6th. All clay, tools, glaze and firing included.
